Endmills

An endmill is a type of milling cutter, a cutting tool used in industrial milling applications for its application, geometry, and manufacture. While a drill can only cut in the axial direction, most milling cutters can cut in the radial direction. Not all milling cutters though can cut axially; those designed to cut axially are known as end mills.
End mills are used in milling applications such as profile milling, tracer milling, face milling, and plunging.
Several broad categories of end- and face-milling tools exist, such as centre-cutting versus non-centre-cutting (whether the mill can take plunging cuts); and categorization by number of flutes; by helix angle; by material; and by coating material. Each category may be further divided by specific application and special geometry.

-Designed for high precision milling and higher wear resistance.
-Special flute geometry for reduced wear and vibration.
-Heavy core and unique land geometry allows higher depth of cut and maximum rigidity.
-Higher heat resistant coating for increased tool life.
-Better clearance angles for reduced chatter.
